The Coffee Shop Innovation Expo: Here’s to 2018
The 2018 edition of the Coffee Shop Innovation Expo gathered the world of coffee together to feast their eyes on the very solutions brewing innovation in the ever- evolving coffee sector, transforming the ExCeL London into the beating heart of the industry once again.
Across an unbelievable two days, 3,774 hospitality professionals descended on the ExCeL to take their pick of over 250 visionary suppliers offering the products that are revolutionising coffee shops across the globe, and over 150 seminars from the most influential minds in the industry, so it’s no surprise that 76% of visitors would recommend the event to a colleague.
For the very first time, The Coffee Shop Innovation Expo joined forces with 6 other leading events, all coming together to form the Hospitality Technology Innovation brand, attracting an accumulative total of 17,685 visitors all hungry for growth and armed with ambition.
As you might expect from the industry's point of reference for innovation, the show played host to some of the most renowned brands, including Starbucks, Boston Tea Party, Caffe Nero, Costa, Prezzo, Pret a Manger, Harris + Hoole, BaxterStorey and Easycoffee, all uniting to share their knowledge, wisdom and know-how with budding coffeepreneurs!
This year’s event also saw the return of our very own Innovation Awards, designed to celebrate the businesses who have pushed the boundaries of innovation, service and design in order to improve and enhance their daily operations. With six awards up for grabs and judged by an incredible panel of esteemed experts, the battles were as fierce as ever, but we are delighted to announce that the worthy winners are:

And the incredible features didn't stop there. Our ambitious visitors were greeted with an unsurpassable number of live demos, panel debates, networking opportunities, show exclusives and product launches, resulting in a huge 89% of attendees being left astounded with the variety and quality of exhibitors, not to mention what else the show had to offer!
With the number of coffee shops set to overtake pubs by the year 2030, our show has never been more valuable to the industry. Plans are already underway, and we can’t wait to share with you what’s in store for the show next year, hitting the ExCeL on 26th & 27th November 2019.
